The Weekly Impact 3/10/22

You wouldn’t want to be late for church!
It is a little embarrassing to walk in an hour late
and everyone realize you had forgot to set your clocks forward!

What does it take to be King?  The right family lineage?  Taking out the previous King and asserting yourself in his place?  Luck?  Or God?  You find all of these in the Bible, but the most known Kings were those who you could see God had a direct hand in placing them in that position.  There is a lot we can learn from the Kings of Israel, and this Sunday we will begin a four-week series on the lessons we can learn from the life of King Hezekiah. I hope you will plan to be here each week as we look at how we should define our legacy, how to make necessary changes to honor God, and what to do when Satan tries to prevent us from obeying God. Invite someone to come with you, this will be a series that will impact everyone.

If you are new to Temple and wonder what we are all about, or would like to know how to get more involved, or even how to become a member of this church, then you need to attend what we call “Closer Look”.  It will be March 27th following the 10:30 service.  We will provide lunch and child care, and will share with you more about Temple and what we believe God has called us together to do for one another and for the community of Jonesboro, and how we are being led to play our part in “making disciples of all nations”.
