The Weekly Impact 4/28/2022

This Sunday night we are partnering with our Missions Office to host an event for our Association.  This will start at 5pm and we want to encourage everyone to come and enjoy this night of worship, testimonies of what God is doing through our Missions, and allowing us to hear from our Missions directors. There will also be a reception time following, so if you would help by bringing some finger foods or desserts it will help us serve our association well.
We also want to be a blessing to the Missions Office in Conway. They asked if we could gather items for our Missions Houses in Conway. These houses are on our association’s property and house missionaries when they are traveling through Arkansas, are doing training, or on furlough.
The association churches have been asked to contribute to this as well. Below is a list of things you can bring with you that night to bless our Missions Office and our Missionaries.  We will have boxes set up in our foyer that you can drop these supplies in as you come in for this event that evening.

•  Toilet Paper•  Paper Towels
•  Trash bags•  Shampoo
•  Conditioner•  Body Wash
•  Coffee Pods (keurig)•  General Cleaning supplies

We have rescheduled this trip for this Thursday (May 5th).  Our silver strands (those 55 and above) will be loading the bus and heading to Strawberries Restaurant in Holcomb Missouri for Lunch. If you would like to go, please sign up in the foyer and get ready to go have a good time with this group. We will meet at the church at 9:45 and should be back early afternoon.

Spring is here and the grass (and weeds) are growing!  If you are able to help in this area please contact George Green or the church office to find out how you can help.  The more that are willing to help in this area the less often everyone will have to take a turn!

May 29 – Quill’s last Sunday on staff (he and Sharon will be continuing to ready themselves for their move to Zambia through more trainings in Conway during the month of June.  Then they plan to move to Zambia toward the end of July).

July 17-20 - Vacation Bible School
July 26 – August 6 – Zambia Trip
End of July – Middle School Camp (grades 4-6)
