Joy In The Journey
This week we learned how to sift through the noise with worship, scripture, and the pursuit of God. I hope you are able to truly experience the joy in Christ that is offered to you at the onset of each morning, and throughout your days. There are many things trying to take us away from the Lord and His presence. If you haven't yet, read through Psalm 16 and Psalm 19 in your times of worship this week. And, come this Sunday as we continue talking through our journey from a Biblical context.
Adult Wednesday Night Classes
This past Wednesday we finished our first rotation in our classes on the habits of Jesus. This coming Wednesday everyone will rotate into a new class. Andy has been teaching on prayer, Casey has been teaching us how to read the Bible for ourselves, and Jonathan has been teaching through the practices of Silence and Solitude. This week is the perfect time to start coming back to church on Wednesday nights.
Fall Festival!!
October 26, we are having a carnival style Fall Festival for our church and the surrounding community. We would like to take this opportunity to meet new people who need Jesus and introduce them to the gospel. We need candy! If you are able, please begin bringing candy that we can give out at this festival. The event will go from 6p-7:30p on Wednesday night, October 26. Start inviting your neighbors. These events are a great way to introduce people to the idea of being a part of a church that loves God and them.
